I am coaching many affiliate beginners, and there are some question that I receive over and over, like the three questions below:
1. I read your SEO book. I realize you only use paid directory submission, article submission, Squidoo and BLOGs to promote your sites. Are all of them the main item for promoting?
Yes, now, as for 2009, I refined even more my advertising plan.
Now, I promote with the following:
a. Blogs (my own, free blogs, blog comments)
b. Web 20 sites (Squidoo, hubpages, quizilla, etc)
c. Press releases
d. articles
e. I progressively getting in PPC
f. directory submission to free sites
2) For article submission, the author biography, what do you write in it?
Do you put anchor link to your own webpage or to the sales page of the affiliate product?
As for my bio box, I never put a link directly to the merchant page. I put links to my own sites or blogs.
3) My site is still not indexed after doing blog ping, go articles propeller for 2 weeks? IS there any reason?
This is strange, it should be already indexed.
To know if it is indexed, this is what you need to do:
a. In the Google search bar, type: YourSite.com
b. Click search
If your site appears, that means that you are indexed.
